North Ward is a 34-bed Medical Ward consisting of all single rooms that offers diverse medical nursing care, with particular strengths in diabetes education, wound management, chronic diseases, oncology, pain management support, and much more.  The ward also consists of 7 single deluxe palliative care rooms and offers specialized treatment for patients requiring support, treatment and empathy during progressive illness.

We aim to provide :

• Prompt and adequate relief from pain
• Attention to physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of patients and their families and friends
• An atmosphere which encourages relieve, relation and understanding
• Rooms are furnished to meet the needs of the patient and their family including an overnight sofa for use by family members.

We strive to provide excellence in nursing care delivery for all our patients and informative support for their families and friends.  We embrace the concept of holistic care and encourage a multidisciplinary team approach to achieving positive patient outcomes.
