St Andrew’s employs a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse who provides care and support to those affected by prostate cancer.
When a patient is diagnosed with prostate cancer this can be a stressful time for men, their families and friends.
Our prostate nurse can assist you by:
- Providing reliable information regarding your diagnosis and treatment options
- Providing any information, care and support you might need to help manage the side effects of your treatment
- Helping you access community and hospital services available to you
- Helping you access support groups
Our prostate nurse can be contacted by you at any stage during or after your treatment.
Our prostate nurse will assist you in coordinating your care with your doctors and other health care Professionals.
