St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital is pleased to advise Dr Neha Nandal, Neurologist, has recently commenced consulting in part-time private practice onsite.

Dr Nandal currently works as a Senior Staff Specialist in Neurology at Toowoomba Hospital. She manages a broad spectrum of neurological conditions and is passionate about delivering high quality neurology services. Dr Nandal believes in providing individualised patient centred care with focus on empathetic doctor-patient communication.

In addition to general neurology, Dr Nandal has a special interest in Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Headache and Movement Disorders. She has over eight years of experience in neurology post completing her neurology training.

Dr Nandal completed her Neurology training at AIIMS (New Delhi), a premier medical institute, where she also conducted research in Stroke and Epilepsy. Upon moving to Australia, she gained extensive experience in Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis while working as a Stroke Fellow in the Australian Capital Territory and as an MS Fellow in Newcastle respectively. After her fellowships, Dr Nandal moved to Queensland where she has been practicing as a Neurologist since.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Nandal enjoys clinical research and teaching. She is currently associated with The University of Queensland as a Senior Lecturer, and she is passionate about teaching our future doctors.
