Dr Brady Bonner

Dr Brady Bonner is a Queensland-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in orthopaedic trauma, hip and knee arthroplasty, and the management of complex musculoskeletal injuries. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care that helps patients regain mobility, restore function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Born in Toowoomba, Dr Bonner has strong connections to regional Queensland. He spent his early childhood in Blackall before completing his schooling in Stanthorpe, where he is a proud sixth-generation Granite Belt local. He later attended The University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery before completing a Master of Traumatology (Orthopaedics) through the University of Newcastle.

Dr Bonner undertook specialist orthopaedic training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association, gaining extensive experience across many of Queensland’s leading metropolitan and regional hospitals. His training has provided broad expertise in both elective orthopaedic surgery and the management of complex traumatic injuries.

Dr Bonner has a particular interest in orthopaedic trauma and hip and knee replacement surgery. He combines contemporary surgical techniques with clear communication and a collaborative approach, working closely with patients to develop personalised treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle.

Having returned to the Darling Downs, Dr Bonner is proud to provide specialist orthopaedic care to the community where his own journey began. He is passionate about ensuring patients can access high-quality orthopaedic services close to home and is committed to supporting the ongoing growth of specialist healthcare across regional Queensland.
