St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital’s volunteers play a vital role in the first class service offered at the hospital. They strive to make a meaningful difference, enhancing the experience of every patient, seupporting their families, uplifting the staff, and raising essential funds for much-needed hospital equipment.

Our Buggy Drivers
Collect and drop off our patients from around the hospital campus in a buggy to save patients and family walking to and from the carpark.
SATH NAV’s
Volunteers are available Tuesday – Friday 9am-1pm to assist patients find their way through the hospital corridors.
Cancer Care Volunteers
St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital receives no recurrent Commonwealth, State or Local Government assistance. The hospital relies upon community support to assist with meeting the growing needs of the community as well as introducing the latest technological advances in medical and surgical procedures.

Our Hospital Auxiliary
Auxiliary meetings are held at 9.30am on the second Wednesday of each month at the hospital. Morning tea is provided, followed by time for fellowship and connection after the meeting. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us.
With kindness and care, our Auxilary volunteers visit the wards to tend to flowers and deliver magazines, adding small touches that make a big difference. They cherish the opportunity to chat and connect with patients, offering support in any way they can.
Handmade blankets, toys, thoughtful small gifts, and a selection of books are available for purchase near the Cafe. All items are offered at affordable prices. Donations of quality, saleable goods are always warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated by the Auiliary.
From delicious cake and craft stalls to raffles, Bunning BBQs and our much-loved Mother's Day morning tea, the annual fundraising events bring the community toegther whilst supporting a great cause with all monies raised being donated back to the hospital.
