Paul Boje

Paul Boje was appointed Chief Executive Officer of St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital in October 2026. His career spans more than two decades across frontline clinical care, diagnostics, commercial management, and hospital leadership.

Paul began his career in science as a hospital scientist before moving into paramedicine. Over almost 15 years with NSW Ambulance, he progressed from a frontline intensive care paramedic through to superintendent, building a deep understanding of patient care and clinical operations.

He then moved into health management with Bupa Healthcare ANZ, overseeing operations on the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Health Services Contract across Queensland. This was followed by executive roles with Laverty Pathology, Healius Pathology and Lumus Imaging, where he led business management, commercial strategy and contracting at a national level.

Paul was then appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Albury Wodonga Private Hospital Network for Ramsay Health Care, where he led hospital operations, clinical and medical partnerships, and service growth across three hospitals spanning acute surgical, cancer care and rehabilitation services.

Paul is known for a practical, people-first leadership style and a strong commitment to mentoring the next generation of health leaders.
