CBT General Skills Program

The Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) General Skills Program is designed for patients following discharge from the St Andrew’s Mental Health unit, as well as people who have never had an inpatient admission who are interested in increasing their ability to manage their mental health, continue to stay well, improve their psychological resilience and quality of their life. The General Skills Program is an educational and skills development program that focuses on a specific topic each week. Topics include:

  • Building resilience

  • Distress tolerance
