We are pleased to advise that Dr Elijah N Darika has commenced full time private practice on site at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.

Dr N Darika has recently completed his Echocardiography Fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences, a leading Toronto Hospital with a well-renowned cardiac imaging and structural heart disease program.  The training through this University Hospital has enabled him to now bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Toowoomba and Darling Downs community.

His General Cardiology and Echocardiography interests include:

• Exercise Stress Echocardiography
• Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography
• Advanced echo techniques including contrast echo strain and 3D echo
• Imaging for Structural Heart Disease
• Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiography

The addition of Dr N Darika’s skills to the St Andrew’s existing team of Cardiologists strengthens the Hospital’s 24 hour, 7 day a week on call, comprehensive cardiology service.
