We are pleased to advise that Dr Sravanthi Ganagalla has commenced in private practice as a General and Acute Care Physician in early August, 2021. Dr Ganagalla joins our team of fabulous Specialist Physicians, Dr Luke Gaffney, Dr John Gillett, Dr Joel Collins and Dr Alon Barnes at Queensland Specialist Physicians, already onsite in practice at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.

Dr Sravanthi Ganagalla is a very enthusiastic General and Acute care Physician, with 10 years of work experience in Australia. She undertook most of her basic training in Townsville and Gold Coast hospitals. She worked as an Advanced trainee at the Caboolture hospital and the major hospitals in Brisbane including Princess Alexandra and The Prince Charles Hospitals. She then moved to Toowoomba with family where she completed her training at Toowoomba base hospital and obtained Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Physicians. She has a wide range of clinical interests centred primarily in General and acute care medicine; she has special interests in the following areas of medicine:

• Endocrine conditions such as diabetes, thyroid diseases, calcium disorders and Osteoporosis
• Hypertension
• Preoperative medical assessment and perioperative medical care
• Chronic diseases and
• Renal Medicine She is excited about building a private practice and is happy to accommodate any urgent appointments.
