St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital was established in 1966 as a 42-bed hospital with 2 operating theatres. Since 1966, the hospital has developed into a 137- bed facility with 6 operating theatres providing a wide range of acute medical and surgical services. With more than 500 staff and 300 accredited Visiting Medical Practitioners, the hospital provides services to over 20,000 inpatients and 5,000 outpatients each year.
The hospital is supported by high quality, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities in radiology, pathology and pharmacy services in addition to an extensive radiation and medical oncology facility.
